PJNS aims to promote research and increase knowledge among peruvian neurosurgeons in order to improve the quality of neurosurgical treatment and prognosis of patients in urban and rural communities of our country.

The Peruvian Journal of Neurosurgery was created to make neurosurgical research accessible to everyone without the barriers of subscription fees. Although the articles in PJNS are free to read, they are not free to publish. At this moment the journal is self-funding and even though we rely largely on the invaluable efforts of some volunteer there are still some significant costs involved.
